The Sun

Throughout this term, Room 5 has been working on the success criteria for poetry. Today we have been making sentences about the sun, they had to have sun-like objects, -ing verbs and Adjectives. These are my sentences. The sun is an oven sizzling brightly. The sun is a gold coin spying and blazing. The sun is a fireball boiling and sunny. The sun is a lemon Gleaming and bright. The sun is a ball shining and round. The sun is a light bulb glowing yellow.

Our Assembly

Last week on Friday Room 5 performed an assembly for the whole school. Our assembly was about stereotypes and to not judge others. We did a play about it as well, one of the situations was when a girl wanted to play soccer with the boys but the boys said that netball was for girls and soccer was for boys but the girl proved him wrong and showed the boys that she was really good at playing soccer.
