Country Research

This week in room 5, we have been researching a country.  We had to research all types of things like the most popular sport, the country's leader and more. I researched France and this is what it looks like. 

Anzac Art

This week we have been making art on Anzac, we coloured in a picture and dyed the background and it turned out amazing! We presented them in our assembly. This was so much fun, here is mine.

Anzac Pamphlet

This week we have been researching a story and making it into a pamphlet. All of the topics were about things during world war 1, there were many objects to pick from but I chose some telegrams. The telegrams were sent to a family and were from a soldier in the war.  Here is my pamphlet.

Growth Mindset

In the past few weeks, we have been working on a massive poster on growth mindset altogether. We all got a piece of paper and said how we could work on things we also coloured in a part of a brain and stuck them together to make a massive brain. This is what it looks like 

  

Poems

This week we have been working on some poems to send to another classroom in New Zealand. These poems have 18 words in them and they are getting sent today. We all had to do one poem on an object. We could choose one of these miniature objects: a ship in a bottle, gem, woman, stone, chess piece and a puzzle piece.  I chose the woman and spider.  Here is what my poems look like.

Statistics Poster

This week in maths, we have been making a bar graph. My group did it on favourite stores. Kmart got 10 votes, Smiggle got 2 votes, Typo got 8 votes and Farmers got 5 votes. This is what my poster looks like. 

 

Animal Poster

This week we have been working on posters of animals that we have researched.  We had to find out what their habitat, diet, looks, babies and extinction is.  The animal that I chose is the Dodo I enjoyed researching the dodo because it was a very interesting animal. I chose the Dodo because I didn't really know what it was but now I do. This is what my poster looks like.
