I am learning to create a narrative based on an image.
“Beep, beep, beep, it’s the year 2050, rise and shine Sam,” the digital device announces.
“Argh seriously alarm clock, do you have to wake me up so early?” says Sam. Sam is an average man that loved a clean spotless earth but the earth around him wasn’t exactly his dream one. As an example right now he rushed over to the window wishing the earth was doing a bit better, but all he could find was the usual thing, robots surrounding his window.
Running down the stairs and slamming the front door realizing that he was late for work. His legs were getting sore, and the more he walked, the more he got tired. Moving his head he looked across the street and there was a smell of polluted air coming out of Mcdonalds because all of the fast food was taking charge. At last he saw a sign saying “BNZ.” which is where he works so he rushed over in the cold air and grabbed the rusty handle. Suddenly something strange crawled out of the corner.
It was a ginormous, red robot that was about to turn Sam into a baby robot. It also had some sort of goggles and his ugly tentacles were slithering out of his body. There was a black puff of smoke coming out of him. The robot had an evil grin spreading across his face.
Sam’s heart pounded like a lion, while trying to figure out what to do. He was shaking and freaking out. He was thinking what he would look like and what he would do. Step by step he was moving backwards but he didn’t have that much space to go. The robot was cornering him.
Then Sam felt something that tickled and slithered passed him, the robot broke down and at last Sam was safe. He didn’t know what it was though. It felt just like a line, he thought to himself. When he was tucking himself into his bed his mind was twisting and turning wondering what it was and why the robot broke down.
It was a Saturday afternoon and he was thinking all day about it when finally he got the answer he was waiting for. It was a plug that was attached to the robot. Now it all made sense and he always had a story to tell.
